Vehicle makers use a variety of materials to transfer collision energy around the passenger compartment to protect the occupants. This course introduces how those materials are used and how to identify them. From different types of metals to foams, adhesives, even structural glass, the student will learn how these materials are used in vehicle construction and how they impact collision repair.
