You will learn the safety precautions when working with medium and high voltage in hybrid and electric vehicles, compressed natural gas (CNG), and liquid propane gas (LPG) vehicles, including personnel safety, vehicle system and part safety and finally, shop safety. In a troubleshooting discussion, you will learn the steps to remove a hybrid battery and review diagnostic tools. In procedural examples featuring alternative fuel vehicles, you will study how to inspect for damage and replace parts in vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid propane gas (LPG).
